Grilled Marron with Chilli and Cheese
Ingredients
1 Marron
75 g unsalted butter -- 4oz
2 tbsp lemon juice
Black pepper to taste
Directions
Cut the marron if half lengthways and remove the black or greenish sac from the head and the black or green thread which runs the length of the body.
Place the marron on an ovenproof tray and season with the pepper.
Place small pieces of butter over the flesh and cook
under a hot grill for 10-15 minutes.
Pour over the lemon juice and serve at once.
